PRACTICAL SUPPORT FOR REAL BUSINESSES
When we first started working with The Growth Company in 2021, they were looking for providers who could connect with and support small business owners, with an initial focus on how to grow sales. They were launching a new programme called Enterprising You, aimed at Manchester-based small businesses, to help them grow and employ new staff.
Proven Owners
They wanted to use coaches who had run their own businesses and could give practical and actionable advice.

Each interaction had to show genuine outcomes that the business owners would need to follow through on and put into practice.

what we delivered
RUTHLESSLY EFFICIENT MARKETING
We began by creating a core marketing strategy for small businesses that could be run across the 6 hours allocated to us. We focused on delivering everything needed within that strategy AND coaching the business owner so they were able to own marketing going forward. The whole process was termed 'Ruthlessly Efficient Marketing'.
Over the following 5 years, we have created and run workshops covering full business support, aimed at start-ups, scale-ups, and those looking to reignite their businesses. Signature programmes include Starting a Business With Confidence and Enterprising You Marketing.
These workshops are run virtually to ensure we reach the widest audience, but we have also begun running smaller workshops directly in the 10 Manchester boroughs, like Bolton, as well as areas of Greater Merseyside, like St Helens.
